Jonathan Zu

CO FOUNDER & CO PRESIDENT

Jonathan is a junior at Archbishop Carney and is passionate in foreign and domestic policy, politics, law, and social awareness. He is experienced in leadership, being involved in his school's student council, and working as a debate trainer at BC Forensic League. He also currently serves as the Canadian Chapter Director at Eloquence Academy, a non-profit American-based organization aimed at making debate education more accessible. Jonathan likes to challenge himself academically, enrolling in courses his sophomore year including pre-calculus 11, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP US Government and Politics. Outside of school, he enjoys competing in public forum debate, where he actively competes in the national circuit, attaining a gold bid at the 48th Annual University of Pennsylvania Tournament, and qualifying to the Tournament of Champions his freshman year. He hopes to make a positive impact on society to represent and raise awareness of some of the most underprivileged and underrepresented people in Greater Vancouver.
